Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • 8x8-inch baking pan (greased or lined with parchment paper)
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons
  • Microwave-safe bowl (if melting chocolate chips in the microwave)

Ingredients

  • 1 can 14 oz Carnation Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 cups chocolate chips milk or dark, your choice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate and Butter:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, butter, and Carnation Sweetened Condensed Milk. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until everything is completely melted and smooth. Be sure to keep the heat low to prevent burning.
  • Stir in the Vanilla and Salt:
  • Once the chocolate and butter mixture is smooth, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
  • Pour and Set:
  • Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 8x8-inch baking pan. Spread it evenly with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm to the touch.
  • Serve:
  • Once the fudge has set, cut it into small squares or rectangles. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
